Announcing NFM’s Anthem Winner

Congratulations to Danika Portz of Nashville, Tenn., for her winning Anthem entry, “House Becomes a Home.”

Danika has been described by Billboard Magazine as a songstress who “simply sounds like nobody else in Nashville these days,” and that kind of unique sound perfectly captures the unique spirit of NFM. An Iowa native, Portz has opened for some of the biggest acts in the music industry.

With more than 400 entries, the contest committee had the enormous task of selecting 10 semifinalists. Voting was then opened to the public to narrow it down to 5 finalists, with Danika Portz’s entry being selected as the $25,000 grand prize winner.
